A kitchen is often a very important space to cook together with your family, to gather to have a meal, and that’s why this place should be very cozy, stylish and functional. This kitchen by Deulonder Arquitectura Domèstica was organized so that everything is at hand, it’s just 17 square meters. The kitchen island is just 130 x 78 cm but it’s enough to cook comfortably. I love the colors – beige was used to widen the space but there are also bright red walls to make it more cheerful – and the green plants are used for the same purpose. The kitchen turned to be functional, small but very stylish.
The main idea is to integrate the building into the environment oriented to the fantastic views of the housing development, taking advantage of the slight off-level of the lot itself. The project evolves linked to these conditionings with two resounding volumes, rectangular, forming a very simple scheme, which solves the interior layout with large spaces in half levels and double heights.
About the building, highlight the clean finishes, select materials and unique qualities. The property is surrounded by a landscaping made with attractive interventions and an existing tree extension.

Hotel Lone by 3LHD Architects
Description from official site:
The 248-room property is located in the picturesque Mediterranean town of Rovinj, in the exclusive Monte Mulini neighborhood. Built to resemble a sleek white ocean liner floating on the hillside, the hotel offers a wide range of places to wine and dine including three restaurants, three bars and a night club. It also features a Mediterranean-inspired wellness center, a 600-seat auditorium and nine other meeting and conference spaces with state-of-the-art technology. Hotel Lone’s design focus, together with first-rate event and leisure facilities, create the perfect symbiosis of work and play.
The project is led by Croatian architect Silvije Novak of 3LHD and inspired by the typology of 1970s Croatian hotels. “The Croatian coast has several architecturally-impressive hotels from forty years ago, and their appearance is still modern today,” says Novak. “Many of them are terraced hotels with large lobbies, and this is exactly how we have organized the space of Hotel Lone.” A “Y”-shaped structure is created along the coast to give all rooms spectacular sea or park views, and a dramatic hotel lobby opens up towards the sky with an atrium spanning six levels. Respect for the environment is shown in the interior design, with integration of the natural surroundings into many of the hotel’s public and private spaces through large glass walls and mirrors.

Japanese house design usually differs a lot from European or American. That could be seen not just in building itself but in interior too. Many of that differences was born because of their passion to innovate.
Toyo Kitchen Style are the mainstream of Japanese kitchen innovations. One of their latest collections, INO, feauture quite innovative kitchen islands. They have 135 degrees V-shape form. Our today’s interior menu is the Frame Bar, where we tend to prefer that it’s more suitable as a modern small restaurant than a bar, located at St George Lycabettu Hotel in Athens, precisely in Kolonaki. The bar interior design has unique furniture and a unified interior and this is proven when you see the interior topography which is continuous. From the first step you take you can see geometrical continuity at this modern bar interior.
The architect TDC (Tsigos Design & Constructions), wanting to recreate this place as a whole unified system, starting from chairs, stools, bar tables, and coffee tables that shows geometrical continuity between one and another. In order to achieve the goals, the architect used polyethylene surfaces which are then constructed by deforming the material with heat. It’s unfortunate that it’s a bar to us, where it should be more of a unique small or medium restaurant.
