Antonio Sofan is based in the Philadelphia architect who designed a residence with an area of 5380 square meters in Monteria, Colombia.
This is a one-story contemporary home with a nerve called the River House. Completed last year, the residence overlooking the River nerve is the second largest river house in the country.
The concept of simple design, based on two white boxes with large missing piece to a shady terrace. Both blocks are connected and homes are different: the high one holding the dining room, kitchen, living and service, while the shorter one room includes four bedrooms. Arch11 was tasked with designing an authentic minimalist interior for a speculative home purchased by our client. The monochromatic palette is contrasted by a two-story red glass stair enclosure; a formal sculpture in the space that provides a haptic experience playing with one’s sense of color as you pass up or down the stairs. Walls were removed to facilitate an overlapping of spaces and provide connection to the north and south yards throughout the public spaces. A play of tone and texture, rather than color, delineates surface treatments. Walls are white, whether plaster, glass or casework. The polished concrete floor surface transforms to become the fireplace wall; the polymorphous material remains the same, only the surface texture and tone change.

Near this castle there is a terrace with lounge chairs and an amazing pool. As the nature outside is very bright the designers decided to make the interior also right, colorful and minimalist. Black, green ,red, crimson, orange – all these colors will raise your spirits at once. The windows are very big to give the panoramic views of the blue sea. Modern interior with colorful accents – what can be better? like the bathtub very much – it’s made of rough stone that looks amazingly organic. Both the interior and the exterior are stunning and chic, it’s a dream for any sea lover.

The Tower House
The Tower House was designed by Andersson Wise Architects located along Lake Travis, the longest of the Highland Lakes, Texas. This modern house design has a new spirit of coastal home design with tall structure and glass wall. Called The Tower House, this inspiring coastal home design has two bedroom, and two bathroom. One such cabin sits on a slope rising from the water under a canopy of native oaks and cedars. The natural porch completed with an open plan kitchen, facing the water. In considering an addition to the original, stone lodge at this Lake Travis property, the notion of a tower was born out of several factors: taking advantage of views, minimizing the footprint on the site, and accommodating the rising flood plain elevation.
Two small bedrooms occupy the first and second floors. Above, a third level terrace opens to a panorama of the lake and distant rolling hills. On this terrace, some thirty feet above the ground, even the hottest summer afternoon can be enjoyed under a roof open to the prevailing breezes blowing in from the lake. The original stone cabin is now juxtaposed with a vertical tower of wood, rising up out of the forest and into the bright Texas sky. Wonderful home design in limited space without limited appearance
