Hotel Lone by 3LHD Architects

Description from official site:

The 248-room property is located in the picturesque Mediterranean town of Rovinj, in the exclusive Monte Mulini neighborhood. Built to resemble a sleek white ocean liner floating on the hillside, the hotel offers a wide range of places to wine and dine including three restaurants, three bars and a night club. It also features a Mediterranean-inspired wellness center, a 600-seat auditorium and nine other meeting and conference spaces with state-of-the-art technology. Hotel Lone’s design focus, together with first-rate event and leisure facilities, create the perfect symbiosis of work and play.

The project is led by Croatian architect Silvije Novak of 3LHD and inspired by the typology of 1970s Croatian hotels. “The Croatian coast has several architecturally-impressive hotels from forty years ago, and their appearance is still modern today,” says Novak. “Many of them are terraced hotels with large lobbies, and this is exactly how we have organized the space of Hotel Lone.” A “Y”-shaped structure is created along the coast to give all rooms spectacular sea or park views, and a dramatic hotel lobby opens up towards the sky with an atrium spanning six levels. Respect for the environment is shown in the interior design, with integration of the natural surroundings into many of the hotel’s public and private spaces through large glass walls and mirrors.

The resulting design incorporates polished marble floor tiles, several imported feature lights, flamed granite wall cladding and imported wallpaper to highlight key walls. Arper chairs; bespoke meeting tables, and tailor-designed artwork, with two signatory sculptures embodying the company’s vision and culture, provide a high level of finish without being overly opulent.

The supplementary 10th floor now houses their main reception and a 75-seater auditorium, where regular seminars and functions are held. A 20-seater boardroom, boasting state-of-the-art video conferencing facilities, opens onto an entertainment area and informal meeting room. Further meeting rooms vary in size from 4 to 10-seaters. The lower floors were redecorated and opened up to create lighter, more open-plan areas for the secretaries and candidate attorneys.

Modern Studio Interior Design by Dom Arquitectura

This is modern studio Interior design by Dom Arquitectura, a fresh and comfortable office from Pablo Serrano.

This is the Description from official site:

All the iron is dark graphite gray painted, the same of the interior furnishings. Across the glass surface is placed inside a dark gray screens, to control the space privacy. As an Architecture studio, we have some details about the profession, the graphite color of the pencils, the prevailing white color like papers and  the wall parallel. The inner wall of the room is very irregular. With the goal of unifying all these folds we proposed some horizontal lines that run through the wall, painted with the same gray that the continuous pavement. This allowed us to provide the wall of a plot in a gradient, starting with getting rid continuously and gradually breaking up until the roof.

We designed the Lamp that runs around the room, from some sections of iron flowing freely through space with convergent and divergent lines, covered with several sheets of folded parchment paper, as if they were the same studio plans. The result is an enlightened paper path through the roof. We propose an edge distribution, where 6 tables are based on the exterior side. In the same perimeter is placed a dark shelf, which runs through the space, we can put all the books and magazines worker’s hand and hide the strip turn providing the facilities for all jobs. The bathroom walls are painted in dark as an inverted room, the plan annotation dimensions remain drawn on the walls. We wanted to give this space a color point, and we loved the Campari lamp by Ingo Maurer, finally decided to reinterpret it with green Carlsberg bottles.”

Contemporary Town Office by Taranta Creations

The design is a reflection of the ongoing creative process within the studio. The intervention seeks to provide an adaptable space that supports a range of informal functions.

The office is situated in a former metal factory. The excising diagonal steel structure was causing difficulties to fulfill the wish of the studio to create two floors. The distance between the structure and ceiling was too less for a traditional office layout of floor and tables. Therefore a floor is created just above the steel structure. Four working stations are placed in the space between the steel profiles. This way the floor is transformed to one continuous desk, while the four recessed stations provide a more traditional workspace. The large ‘work floor’ invites the designers to use the open space for thinking, sketching, meeting, drafting, modeling, sitting and relaxing. This informal interpretation of office space encourages cross-pollination between the different projects and disciplines occurring within the studio.

On the lower floor the individual workstations are placed along the window. A green sculptural table can be used for communal activities. Informal and contoured, the central staircase is reminiscent of a large droplet of water ready to fall from the ceiling. Upon entering the stairway, a highly saturated environment of bright red engulfs and surrounds the individual, starkly marking the transition between the contrasting office areas. The color is repeated on the second floor as an accent to highlight the recessed work areas.

Luxury Office Interior by Landau + Kindelbacher

The implementation of the company philosophy in architectural corporate identity is reflected not only in the entrance lobby, the cafeteria, the conference areas, the auditorium, and the management areas, but also in the design of the workplaces. The new style emphasizes perfectly the company’s slogan – quality in everything we do. The open character of the building is enhanced by bright, elegant colors in the entrance hall. The use of wood, natural stone and Corianas a recurring design element produces a natural, warm atmosphere.

The design concept runs through the entire object; even the elevators are lined with natural stone, and the facades of the entrance hall are adorned with it. As the dominant color, a strong Bordeaux red was chosen for carpets and leather coverings to provide a contrast to the partially illuminated white and the warm wood tones. The auditorium is one of the gems of this object, providing a successful symbiosis between the Corian as the enclosing casing for the interior and exterior and the use of warm wood and technical fabric wall covering for the interior. The library also deserves attention with its division into reception, reading, and lending areas. The cafeteria exudes a friendly, open character: both the choice of colors and the furniture invite visitors to linger.
