We are huge fan of minimalism when it come to house design, and Japanese designer are my favorite. The minimalist house design called Niwanosumika by Japanese designer mA-style design prove that how comfortable minimalist house could be. Located in Tokyo Japan, this house designed for an elderly couple. The entirely house was inspired by traditional Japanese house, but with modern interior. the single story structure is free of traditional walls and boundaries of space, allowing it to ambiguously merge with the surrounding landscape. The façade has simply detail. Wooden black wall partition were chosen to create sharp elegance.
Responding to the existing concrete structure and dividing park-like garden, the dwelling features a low-lying design that aims to be accessible and functional above all else. A network of interconnected boxes and corridors compose the interior volume of the home, dictating the overall flow of light and movement. The interior were set on modern minimalist style, combination between contemporary wood stove with minimalist seating delivering minimalist living room interior.
