The sky is round and the earth is square. The supreme manifestation of the universal dialectic is the sky and earth, paired as a couple. In between both, lies man.

This house inspires security and balance through its square form. Immersed in a round base, it inspires creativity and harmony from the sky. These two shapes -sky and earth- are present in the Chinese coin.

The main shape of the Chinese Coin House relates to prosperity. On both its sides, the Milky Way was expressed, utilizing the concept that irradiates prosperity.

All the house’s measurements are based in the Golden Number (or Golden Ratio): number Phi (Fi) Phi: 1,618. This number is found in the geometrical distribution of patterns, such as sunflower seeds, a bee’s body, even in the human body. Ancient Egyptians used this concept to build the pyramids. Ancient Greeks used it to build the Parthenon. Leonard da Vince applied it to his masterpiece: the Mona Lisa. The Eiffel Tower was also built under this same principle.

Many of the ancient cultures that accumulated a profound wisdom applied to the functioning of nature, gave a transcendental importance to location and to the way houses were built. Throughout centuries, observing the interaction between house and man led to the wise conclusion that our inner coherence, physical and mental health and our abundance and happiness depended on how our houses were built. There are several schools of thought that have recovered and restructured this wisdom.

When building a house today, it’s no longer possible to ignore these factors. Some examples are determining a location site according to the earth’s electromagnetic lines irradiating low intensity gamma rays; distributing interior spaces in a house, considering location of the four cardinal points, or using the golden number or ratio phi to establish the proportions of longitude, depth and volume (this measurement is needed to recreate spaces, giving its inhabitants stability and harmony). The Chinese Coin house was conceived considering all these principals, providing characteristics of an immeasurable value for the wellbeing of the family and guaranteeing the house is constituted as a real energetic battery. Some of them are:

- The location of the house sets the room’s orientation in an open area, free of any negative effect that might be created by the crossing of electromagnetic lines, heightened when subterranean water currents meet.

- The harmonic traces of design follow the shapes and proportions of the sacred geometry, imitating perfection of the universe.

- The definition and location of the main door of the house guarantees that the chi, the vital energy, will be attracted inside, in a unequivocal and generous manner.

- The distribution of interior spaces of the household follow the order of bigger over smaller, establishing the dormitories, living room, kitchen and bathrooms, according to the four cardinal points.

Flexibelity Proto House Design

In the “quiet neighborhood” of the Baldwin Hills in Los Angeles, a modern Proto house sits among a mix of single-family residence of the last decades.

This is the model style house stand out, as if the next generation moved into a few blocks away on the Metro which was opened one local commercial areas and in crowded areas that are not located in Culver city that can be taken away just minutes from Los Angeles.

Convenience is important for designers who also chose this location for its affordability. But the impression is minimalist and efficient at a residence in the hybrid is so impressive, especially because it can be built within a few weeks, not per year.

This resort home is definitely a house designed for passionate love. This is a retreat vista really quiet and luxurious.

With a sleek, modern interior is neatly designed with a balcony overlooking the lake for a hill home design is a dream house.

Beautiful terrace is equipped with extensive use of glass and wood light touch that gives you a cool and refreshing atmosphere to the already magnificent vista. The atmosphere here can be described as uncontaminated area and luxurious living. What started out as a relatively minor remodel of a modest bungalow evolved over the course of construction into a new 2,500 s.f. house, with the existing foundation and footprint as the only original elements.  The Bojanics acted as owner-builders, keeping construction costs to a bare minimum.  The end result was a uniquely collaborative effort; one where the design was worked out on a day-to-day basis during construction in a manner that bordered on improvisation.

The site is at the top of the hills of Sherman Oaks, just under the Mulholland ridgeline, and affords a spectacular view of the San Fernando Valley. The Bojanics wanted a house that would not only take advantage of the view, but also maintain the more traditional role of a house as a private, protective shelter.  This somewhat contradictory request presented a challenge.  The response was an open plan of spaces oriented towards the view, set within a heavy, monolithic mass which provides the necessary closure and protectively hovers above. The negotiation of these opposing aspects is most evident in the entrance; a solid wall, with a door weighing hundreds of pounds, becomes the point of entry which is situated within, and counter to, the open glass walls. Ultra Modern Carrara House by Andres Remy

Architect Andres Remy designing this house on a lot of irregular appearance with the preparation of the rural stone design and is made to define and separate the entry zone of living space.

An entrance makes a strong impression at home. The white color on Carrara marble dominate the architectural interior.

With white walls and ceilings, the house seems to arise from the water. Color used is so touching to small details and decorative objects, which dominated the white and greenish-blue color in water.

The water that surrounds the house through the water surface in the form of mirror that has a novelty in the cascade results that emerged from the interior of the upper floor and is equipped with a painting that can give the impression of a reflection through a glass window. This is a mirror of water is reproduced from the outside to blur the boundaries between one and another.

Designed in a region which has an area 220 meters square, Formodesign has completed the design house to the North-South oriented so-called “House North-South”. The project home is also known by the same name.

The house is close to a large number of trees overlooking the North and South. This house combines a traditional pitched roof house and a simple modern.

J-Tea Extravaganza Design Home by Atelier Waechter

J-Tea International is an importer of Oolong tea from Taiwan. Designed by Atelier Waechter and located in Eugene, Oregon, this project is converting an existing home in the shop.

The project’s goal is to achieve the expected goals. This transformation consists of three basic elements: the entrance, terrace and mostarios for tea. Each item is visually different and have specific goals.

The purpose of the flag is to receive foot traffic and vehicles and make the terrace as a place to sit outside a well-ventilated room.
